Direct your distinctive ring calls to the TDD, phone(s), answering machine, voice mail, fax, modem or any device(s) you designate with any product from Multi-Link's SR™ Selective Ring Call Processor series.
Once installed on your home or office telephone line, the SR Call Processor "listens" to incoming calls to determine ring pattern. The SR series is great for separating TDD from voice calls, fax from TDD calls, TDD from modem calls, etc... Your TDD number rings the TDD, your voice number rings your phones, etc...on a SINGLE phone line.
The SR2 is designed for the usual two distinctive ring services offered by most phone companies. The SR3 can process three separate distinctive rings as offered in some enhanced phone services. You can have either two or three numbers on a single phone line. Both the SR2 and SR3 offer a barge-in protection function.
All SR products feature the Smartware™ embedded software that "learns" your phone company's specific distinctive ring patterns. This means the SR is guaranteed to work with every TDD device and everywhere distinctive ring services are offered.

*Note: Most telephone companies throughout the US and
Canada offer an inexpensive service that lets businesses and homes to
have two or three different phone numbers on one phone line. What distinguishes
the different telephone numbers coming in on the same line is their signature
ring, a pattern of long and/or short rings. Each number has its own special
ring. This product requires this service to work correctly.
These "Distinctive Ring" services go by different names depending
on your phone company -custom Ringing by US West, SmartRing by GTE, RingMaster
by Bell South, RingMate by NYNEX, Personalized Ringing by Southwestern
Bell, Multi-Ring by Ameritech, and IdentaRing by Bell Atlantic.
Once installed on your home or business line, the call processor "listens" in order to determine the pattern of each ring. Then the SR immediately routes the call to the tdd, phone or device you have designated for answering that number - without ringing other phones/devices on the same line!
