 The LineHunter is a rack mountable 4x12 call processor that uses 'selective ring' technology to route incoming calls and allows up to 12 telephony devices to rapidly hunt up to four outbound lines. The outbound hunting feature maximizes line usage potential in point-of-sale and other modem pooling applications. Inbound routing allows precise call direction to be obtained with no call screening. An excellent money saving device for C-stores, Dept. stores, truck stops, grocery stores, etc. that use numerous telephony devices for only a few minutes at a time. Mountable in 19" or 23" equipment racks.
The LineHunter is primarily designed to streamline daily telephone usage by allowing 12 telephony devices to share outbound access with four POTS lines. The ports hunt the first available line quickly in a logical sequence, e.g. ports 1-3 hunt line #1, then #2, #3, etc.
Busy signals are generated when all lines are in use. Any configuration less than maximum of lines/devices can be used, e.g. 1x7, 2x8, 3x10, etc.. Inbound routing is dependent on selective ring capability and is recommended to achieve full potential. Device connectors are RJ-45 jacks and four 110-D-4 connectors provide the interface for the telco lines. Dip switch programming is available for selective line access, busy signal. Equipped with circuit breaker and line use indicator.
