The FAXJ-1000 lets you have up to 4 distinctive ring numbers or 1 number for up to 4 phone connected devices or a combination of both on one line for the phone(s), fax, answering machine, modem or any device(s) that you choose with the FAXJ-1000, the only Automatic and Distinctive Ring Fax Switch.
Other products let you use one mode or the other but only the FAXJ-1000 lets you use both, distinctive ring and automatic tone detection at the same time.
The FAXJ-1000 allows any business, large or small, to enjoy the convenience of automated data transmission without the perpetual monthly expense of a dedicated phone line.
The FAXJ-1000 is a versatile phone/data/fax switch with the ability to automatically route calls via fax CNG tone, central office distinctive ring, or touch tones included in the dial string by the calling party. In addition, the FAXJ-1000 offers full manual transfer capabilities.
Once installed on your home or office telephone line, the FAXJ-1000 listens to incoming calls to determine distinctive ring patterns, touch tones (DTMF) and fax tones (CNG)..
The FAXJ-1000 is great for separating business from personal calls, fax from voice calls, TDD from voice calls, etc...It can turn your answering machine into a distinctive ring answering machine. Your fax number rings the fax, your voice number rings your phones, etc or you can have one phone number for all your devices, the choice is yours...all on a SINGLE phone line.
The FAXJ-1000 stores and retransmits caller ID information so that it is truly caller ID compatible. Unlike other products, the FAXJ-1000 does not require that all the phones ring twice before tranfering the call-id information. When it is a fax call, only the fax rings, no other phones or devices ring at all!
