Before installing the ACP on the telephone line, it is a good idea to check for functionality by "powering up" the unit.
Take (attached to the transformer)(supplied) and plug it into a 110 VAC, 50-60 Hz electrical outlet. Next, plug the power line the AC power transformer into the rear of the ACP, here:
At this time, the LED on the front of the APC should be indicating that the power is supplied.
