ComShare 300 was a single line unit with 3 ports (3 linked + 1 individual).  This was a passive unit meaning it did not answer the incoming call.  It monitored the telephone line and if the FAX CNG tone or DTMF transfer codes were detected, the call was routed accordingly. 

Due to the nature of its operation, the Answering Machine/Phone port would ring on every incoming call and Caller ID was received by the connected devices.  Every phone on the line would ring and receive Caller ID.  The Line Routing Switch 4.1 is the perfect replacement. The user won't need to configure anything..

Line Routing Switch 4.1 is a multi- function line sharing device that defaulta to the tone detection product that automatically routes calls to the proper device without the need for any additional phone company services as the ComShare 300 does.
